1. About Us
Gastronomic Kitchenware Ltd sells kitchenware and related products to consumers through our website.
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. Products
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, measurements and specifications are accurate.
Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, photography and manufacturing tolerances.
3. Prices
All prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown before you complete your purchase.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted by us.
4. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
You will receive an electronic order confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing or description error, payment has not been authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the relevant amount will be refunded.
5. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments are processed through our authorised payment providers. We do not directly store your full payment card details.
6. Delivery
Our current delivery options, estimated delivery times and charges are shown in our Shipping Policy and/or during checkout.
Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Unless otherwise agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within the timeframe required by applicable consumer law.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
7. Your Right to Cancel
If you are a UK consumer purchasing online, you will normally have the legal right to cancel your order from the time the contract is formed until 14 days after the day you receive the goods, subject to statutory exceptions.
You do not need to provide a reason.
To exercise your cancellation right, contact us at:
info@gastronomickitchenware.com
You may use our cancellation form, but you are not required to do so. A clear statement that you wish to cancel is sufficient.
After notifying us of cancellation, you must return the goods within 14 days.
Unless we state otherwise or the goods are faulty, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods.
8. Refunds Following Cancellation
Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the price paid for the goods together with the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option, where required by law.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method, we are not required to refund the additional delivery cost.
We may make a deduction from the refund where the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted when examining the goods in a shop.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
9. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
We want our products to reach you in excellent condition.
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or is not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@gastronomickitchenware.com, including your order number and details of the problem.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights concerning faulty, damaged, unsafe or misdescribed goods.
10. Product Care and Use
Customers should follow any care, maintenance and safety instructions supplied with our products.
Kitchenware, particularly knives and other sharp products, must be used responsibly and for their intended purpose.
Gastronomic Kitchenware Ltd will not be responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper storage, failure to follow reasonable care instructions or use of a product for a purpose for which it was not designed, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
11. Intellectual Property
The Gastronomic Kitchenware name, branding, website content, product photography, graphics, videos, text and other original content belong to Gastronomic Kitchenware Ltd or are used with permission.
They must not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior permission, except where permitted by law.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.
13. Personal Information
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The terms applying to your purchase will generally be those in force when you placed your order.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
